AN ABORTION PREVENTED

She was a nice young woman, we’ll call her Ms M. She had been in the wrong place at the wrong time and she got pregnant. She decided to have an abortion.

There are many heart-wrenching stories that lead up to women’s decisions abort their babies. Ms M’s was particularly innocent. Ms M wanted above all else to be a Catholic nun. She thought that having a baby would disqualify her.

Ms M had been raped. Otherwise she was and remained a virgin. She was an extremely unlucky girl.

Ms M had walked to the small clinic where the abortion was scheduled. As she approached the entrance, Ms M saw a blinding flash of light.

The abortion was prevented.

The date was August 9, 1945. The place was Nagasaki.

The losers in this story are Ms M. and the doctor who was going to help her. Because, at the last moment of their lives they were intent on murdering an unborn child, they both spend eternity in hell.

Of course the overall American effort in WWII was AMDG, and the atom-bombing of Hiroshima was AMDG.

The man who raped Ms M survived the war and later converted to Catholicism and the remainder of his life was exemplary.

The rapist would like to apologize to Ms M, but he can’t. Their paths will never cross. The rapist will spend eternity in heaven, Ms M in hell.
